Angela Kenneally Memorial Plaque

Recently, the staff and students of Drom National School sought to honour Mrs. Angela Kenneally by laying a plaque in the school garden in her memory. The plaque was laid in front of a tree planted by Angela on the occasion of her retirement in 2008. Angela taught in Drom National School from 1972 -2008 and was renowned for her kindness and dedication to the children who attended the school.

Sadly, Angela passed with her husband Tommy in a tragic accident on the 24th August 2011. The family of Angela and Tommy joined us to unveil this memorial plaque to a unique and special teacher and friend who will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all in Drom National School and the wider community.
