On Wednesday 19th February, two members of the Templemore Fire Service visited Drom NS. Edward Scully and Michael Davern came to the school to speak to the children about fire safety. The children were told all about fire hazards, how to prevent fires and what to do in the event of a fire. Finally the officers taught the children how to make an emergency call and the STOP, DROP and ROLL technique for times when a person’s clothing may catch fire.
