In Drom National School, we have taken the following steps:
1. We spend time teaching the children how to wash their hands correctly with soap and water. Hand sanitiser is also available in each classroom.
2. Children will wash their hands before eating at break and lunch.
3. We will continue to advise the pupils of good personal hygiene habits and the importance of sneezing/coughing into their elbow or tissue. Children must dispose of used tissues immediately.
4. Posters are displayed in all classes illustrating good hygiene habits and correct hand-washing techniques.
5. Surfaces are cleaned daily.
We would ask you to reinforce good hygiene habits at home and thank you sincerely for your support in this matter.
