A Mental Health Presentation by Kenneth Heffernan, a renowned psychotherapist, will take place in Our Lady’s Secondary School on Thursday, 26th January at 7.00pm. Free admission. Attendees should be 16+ years.
As a teenager, Kenneth suffered severe Mental Health difficulties. He was a young and promising sportsman but his poor mental health impacted very profoundly on his life.
Kenneth gives a very heartfelt, honest, and at times humorous insight into the difficulties associated with growing up in Ireland.
Kenneth’s story is ultimately one of great hope as he relates how he battled through poor mental health, and gives a great insight into the power of a supportive family.
